Raindance AI — The Pier Scene, With Your Faces

Raindance AI is the gentler cousin of the Hotel Lobby AI trend. Instead of an orange rap stage, the scene is a wooden pier at golden hour: one person sits on the pier edge looking at the water, the other stands and sings toward the camera. Two photos in, and your faces play both parts in a warm, music-video-style clip built for vertical feed.

How the Raindance AI video works

The format follows the trend that made it popular on TikTok — a pier, a sunset, a duet where one listens and one sings. To make yours:

1. Upload two photos. One for the person waiting on the pier, one for the singer. Front-facing, clear light.
2. Pick the Raindance pier stage. Portrait 9:16, built for Reels and Shorts.
3. Generate. About 2 to 6 minutes; start with the free 5-second preview to see both faces.
4. Add the sound when posting. The video renders silent, so you drop the trending audio in inside TikTok — the same move as every other Raindance post.

Raindance or Hotel Lobby — which one fits you

The two formats cover opposite moods. Hotel lobby is punchy: rap verses, bright orange, duet energy, best with friends or pets clowning on stage. Raindance is cinematic: slow light, water, a couple's or best-friends' dynamic, the kind of clip that gets sent privately as much as it gets posted. Both take the same photo rules and the same two-photo upload.

Pet versions travel well here too — a cat watching the sunset from the pier edge while a dog "sings" has become its own sub-genre of the trend.

Photos that make Raindance look real

Golden-hour scenes are forgiving, but faces still need clarity. Even light on both faces, no backlit shadows that hide the eyes, one subject per photo. Because the scene is vertical and the camera holds on faces longer than in the rap stage, close-up portraits tend to work even better here than waist-up shots.
